"Very pleased with the staff and the treatment here. The uncomfortably long wait for my appt.was unusual, caused by scheduling error. While I wouldn't want to have to repeat that, it was well worth the wait. I see definite progress already. Thank you"

"I have not felt this much relief in quite some time. Theresa has helped me tremendously with my pain and helping to correct my scoliosis."

Valley Rehab Center, Inc. is committed to providing cost-effective physical therapy in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. We realize that the rising cost of healthcare, in the form of high co-pays and deductibles, makes ongoing physical therapy intervention unrealistic for a majority of patients. Our goal is to provide a safe and inexpensive option to allow former patients or new participants the opportunity to maintain or improve their physical health while under the supervision of a physical therapist. We are offering a variety of options which focus on improving postural strength and endurance, improving balance and coordination and increasing general flexibility and mobility. Our classes are designed to accommodate participants who have musculoskeletal pain and weakness, limited mobility or who may be at risk of falling due to poor balance or lack of coordination. Our programs include:

Fitness Evaluation:
Our fitness evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment of your physical strength, flexibility, balance and coordination and functional level. Upon completion of the evaluation the participant will be given a comprehensive list of recommendations to address the physical deficits identified. This may include recommendation to participate in one of our Wellness Classes, recommendations for a home exercise program or a recommendation to participate in a formal physical therapy program prior to beginning one of our Wellness classes or a home exercise program. If a formal physical therapy program is recommended you will have the option to contact your physician for a referral and utilize your health insurance benefits.

Balls and Bands Class
This class is designed to strengthen the body’s core musculature, increase flexibility, improve posture and reduce the effects of osteoporosis. Participants will utilize therapy balls to build core muscle strength and theraband for resisted extremity strengthening. In addition, this 45 minute session will include a low impact aerobic workout to improve cardiovascular fitness. This total body workout is appropriate for men and women of all ages who want to stay fit and reduce the effects of aging!

Flex and Balance Class
This class is designed to improve balance and coordination and to reduce the participant’s risk of falling. The class combines flexibility and strengthening exercises with sensory integration training of the visual and vestibular systems to improve balance and coordination. If you have a history of falls or fear of falling this is the class for you!

Fit for Two
This class is designed for couples to work together as a team to improve their strength, flexibility and balance and to improve their ability to transition from one position to another. The class combines stretching, strengthening, balance activities and transitional movements into a workout where each participant facilitates their partner’s activity. Whether a husband and wife team or two friends just wanting to get some exercise, this is a great way to improve your mobility while spending time with someone you love!

Therapeutic Massage

Relax tired and painful muscles with a deep tissue massage! Our therapeutic massage combines soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release and stretching to relieve muscular tightness which causes pain in the neck, back and extremities. Participate in our monthly massage program and get rid of chronic muscle pain and fatigue!
